General Questions
Yes, RKO is fully approved and certified under CSA 47.1 division 1. All welders are certified, and all welding is carried out in accordance with these requirements.
We are registered by CWB registration to ISO 9001:2015, our QMS is also in compliance with CISC Steel Structures and Steel Bridges, CSA W47.1 and W47.2 and API Q1.
RKO has a comprehensive Health & Safety Program which meets or exceeds all applicable legislative or customer requirements. RKO has the capability to adjust its safety program to meet the needs of its customers. The program is audited annually by a third party and managed by an OH&S professional.
Yes. With multiple ironworker crews, mobile cranes, man lifts and welding machines, RKO is well-equipped for any erection project from light commercial to heavy industrial.

Our Design-Build services take your project from conceptual to completion. With in-house design and detailing services, fabrication and erection we can handle every aspect for you
Yes, RKO can fabricate all types of stainless and aluminum product in our dedicated segregated stainless & aluminum shop. RKO is certified to CSA 47.2 division 1.
Location & Capacity
Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM for customer inquiries. Monday to Friday 7:30AM to 3:30PM for pickup/delivery.
Our facility is located at 161 Thornhill Drive, Dartmouth, NS.
Our DAVI plate rolls are good to ¾” thick plate, 10’ long rolled as tight as a 6’Ø.
We can form up to 14’ long material with the thickness dependent on the bend profile. Please contact us for more details.
With a 10’ x 40’ cutting table complete with a HI-DEF plasma torch, oxyfuel torch, spindle & tool magazine we have a wide range of capacities we can handle. Please see the dedicated specifications page or contact sales for more details.
